In life, we learn the hard way that one of the hallmarks of living is frustration. Be it money problems, relationships, practicing a talent, trying to kill that boss in a computer game, things always keep going wrong for us at the start, but notice that even through that, we just keep on going and t is only when we look back we realise ‘Jeez, I did it.’

If we think outside the box and look a little deeper we realise that frustration is actually positive energy. It is a special kind of driving force. When things keep going wrong for us, and we really value it so much, our body goes into auto pilot mode and just keeps on keeping on. This thing you are trying to conquer is an important part of your life, so it has to be done, no excuses.

Getting frustrated is a good thing. It shows that you care and and you value the notion of making shit happen…after all, what is life without those all important goals and what is progress without those bursts of frustration? they are our growth bubbles.

I used to see frustration as a negative hinderance, and a reason for me to at times give up, yet my heart always said ‘one more try’ and it is often that one more attempt that becomes the succesful one. Frustration fixes you to that one goals and pushes you to the limit to ensure not only that it is completed, but you are still battling away at it. I was frustrated at having inverted and out of place toes when I started karate, yet today I have 2 black belts, I was frustrated when writing out my chapters of my book. I wrote up scripts and chapters 15-20 times before seeing success. Now I am an Amazon best-selling author. Everything in life has a special seed of growth, we’ve just got to be courageous enough see that opportunity and run with it,

When things get frustrating, no matter whether it is relationships, auditions, job interviews, that presentation, remember to keep going even through those frustrations because once you reach the other side, that feeling of achievement is like no other. Let that feeling be your driver and let the failures grow you and make special things happen. Every frustration is a stepping stone to the ultimate success destination.
