As I sit comfortably in my bed, my eyes look up and I talk to one person… GOD.
Thank you God for giving me the endless power to see through my challenges in life. At birth you gave me the gift of tenacity which has stayed with me all my life. Big or small, light or hard, severe or mild, nothing and no one has successfully stood in my way.
In my life I have had incredibly tough challenges in far more than one aspect of life…. Professionally, mentally and personally, but here I sit proud, happy and with the biggest sense of serenity, my supreme power emerging from a gaze into the mirror and uttering the words ‘I am Sat Sagoo, The Man of Sattitude’.
You’ve taught me how to accept life as it is, and that fairytales really can come true with our power to create them ourselves. You’ve taught me to have courage and stand up to the most hostile of storms and the most damning NO populations that could ever exist, to change my life for the better. You’ve taught me, in a nutshell that life is only ONWARDS, not BACKWARDS.
To all my friends out there, a true champion never wins trophies, never wins a pool game at the pub each time, never always has a rich million pound life, or flash cars and not always a super nice girlfriend…. A true champion accepts him/herself as he/she is and promoted the good of all of that to emerge as a truly unique warrior in today’s challenging society. A true champion will be hurt a thousand times but keep marching, a true champion will always, no matter what, claim glory from the Jaws of defeat. A true champion will always show a positive attitude and never ever give up on dreams and goals that look impossible.
I’m no millionaire, i don’t have a happy family living with me… Just me in my own. I don’t drive a flash car. My house is not in the perfect of states compared to many others…. That’s because I don’t compare myself to others, I’m just ME.. Satwinder Sagoo and no matter what I will always stay true to that man that loves to touch and lift the world, and most importantly, I never need anyone’s approval to be the man I want to be.
There’s a difference between a blessed life and a cursed life…Our perspective. If we slate our adversities what we are actually uttering is the words ‘I don’t like personal growth’. If we accept them as blessings, we appreciate that they take us to new heights and make us stronger. It’s what creates true champions.
