Discover your Inner Power of positivity and take Menopause to the cleaners.

Are you a woman Business Owner and Entrepreneur who is going through Menopause, is emotionally overwhelmed with anxiety and the uncertainty of what is happening inside you, and feels your livelihood and world of happiness is completely falling apart?

Are you a MALE Entrepreneur who is seeing a sudden, shocking change in your loved one and has become overwhelmed with the anxiety and fear of your relationship/marriage breaking down?

I have been there myself – both through depression, anxiety and traumas which have caused me to lose confidence in myself but also Perimenopause,  where a loving long-term relationship suddenly turned into bitterness and disappeared in a very short space of time. I took all my adversities and used them as my positive power.

Let your Inner positive vibe become your new source of Oestrogen.

My story with Menopause.

The 11th of November, A day when I saw the adoring love of my partner of 2 and a half years. I put a post up on social media joking that I need to up my game in the ‘look handsome’ department by shaving more regular.” My partner commented and said I was “just too sexy, and I love you like crazy”

Only 4 weeks later I put up another post celebrating her new phone, her comment read “thanks Sat, but why this photo I look hideous.” This was the first time I was called by her by my name on social media and their were no kiss marks…SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT.

We had a phone chat days after regarding her book and I was giving pointers, to which she snapped “AM I not good enough?” This shocked me, as this was not her.

We had another phone call, talked things over and she mentioned she had many strong Perimenopausal symptoms. We both mutually agreed to step back from the relationship and support each other through this.

Things seemed to be moving in the right direction. We were talking each night, and as I explained what was happening to her, her anxieties appeared to be easing up.  I even travelled 2 hours up to see her, give her a plush owl (she loved owls) and a massive hug…I loved her so much.

On new years eve, we were talking pretty much all day and we chatted so well, even till the night celebrations. Then 1 minute to 2020, I messaged her telling her that she was always special to me and I loved her so much. Come the start if 2020 she had completely turned. Her responses to my messages were cold, she was no longer the loving girl I always knew.

On the 4th of January I was told it is well and truly over and eventually the relationship was dissipating.

On the 9th January 2020, after Jujitsu class I found myself totally blocked out from all forms of social media and chat apps. I was a truly broken man, I was on the phone to my friend in tears, I was gasping for air if wasn’t sure if I would make it home, but I calmed down and eventually got home. I had dark thoughts of running in front of a fast car, yet having two beautiful kids and my dream of becoming an author just around the corner, I was jolted back to reality and AWAY I WENT.

Can you and your partner relate to this? Read on and see how I can help you and your relationship survive through Menopause.

MENOPAUSE IS A MENTAL JOURNEY AS WELL AS A PHYSICAL JOURNEY.

Though Menopause is a journey of understanding one’s physical symptoms and how they affect you, it is also a journey of mental strength and perspective. Menopause is seen as an exciting transition to the next phase of your life in most eastern and asian countries and cultures, yet in the west it is seen as an ovetwhelming and stressful journey. It doesnt have to be that way at all. When we change our mentality towards Menopause,  we change the thoughts we programme into ourselves and this determines how easy or hard the Menopause journey is.

Menopause doesn’t have to be the doom and gloom that most women make it to be. It can in fact be a journey of positive changes to lifestyle and daily habits, such as…

Diet, Exercise, relaxation, daily routines, habits, surroundings, connections.

I help you to gain that perspective and take control of your emotions when Menopause tries to take control of you. I make you believe YOU CAN when your inner demons shout out “YOU CAN’T”.

This is especially helpful to you if you are a woman who is either fearful or unable to take HRT.

Low Estrogen is the centre of Menopause

Hover over the sectors below to find out what causes each symptom:

Symptom - Unable to sleep

Cause - Body produces extra Cortisol as a result of dropping Oestrogen. This feels like 4 to 5 cups of coffee in quick succession and puts your body on a high state of alert. Also, overwhelming yourself with too much to do, and not having a nice early cut off time.
\

Symptom - Hot flushes

Cause - Low Estrogen and Progesterone, which disturbs the temperature balance and causes your body to be sensitive to outside climate changes. Also consumption of alcohol, Smoking, spicey foods and processed foods.
\

Symptom - Low Moods

Cause - The dropping Estrogen, Progesterone and Testosterone deprives your brain of emotional stability, control and causes it to lose sharpness. The brain produces less Serotonin, which is a chemical that promotes calmness, hence the mood swings and bouts of anxiety.
\

Symptom - Dryness and cracked skin.

Cause - Skin thinning down, causing less blood flow to capillaries in the skin, and also more loss of body fluid. Vaginal dryness is because uterus wall lining thins down, causing irritation also.
\

Symptom - Nausea, allergies, headaches and body pains.

Cause - Low Estrogen weakens the immune system making you more susceptible to illness. A bad diet also contributes to feelings of unwellness.
\

Symptom - Bone Brittleness

Cause - Drop in Estrogen, low Calcium, poor diet.
\

Symptom - Heart palpitations

Cause - Low Estrogen, overworking, high anxieties, low iron levels, overactive thyroid, exhaustion.
\

Symptom - Dizziness

Cause - dropping Estrogen and Progesterone, not drinking enough water, low blood sugars, lack of sleep, stress and anxiety.
\

Symptom - Irregular periods

Cause - Estrogen and Progesterone are also responsible for regulating the menstrual cycle. When these drop periods become irregular, unpredictable and when they come, they can come with vengeance.
\

Symptom - Dry mouth, sensitive/bleeding gums

Cause - lack of saliva flow as a result of dropping Estrogen. Because the salivary glands don't produce enough saliva to wash away bacteia this builds up in thr mouth. This makes the gums feel more sensitive, eating more uncomfortable and constant thirst.

Menopause – it’s A Woman’s and a Man’s world.

Menopause is one of the biggest transitions of a woman’s life, yet the most underspoken. But whilst the women are feeling the symptoms, we forget that their partners are also suffering in their own way with it, with high anxieties of their relationships falling apart out of nowhere, the fear of the unknown, the depression from the consistent heated arguments, the mental health issues it causes them too.

I say “partners” instead of “Men” as I recognise the importance equality. Partners are not just men, but also same sex relationships and also transgender, so in a nutshell – I am here for EVERYONE.

It is no surprise divorce rates, domestic violence and depression is at it’s highest between 35 to 55 – the Menopausal period, because the lack of light on this out there is causing men and women to blame each other’s change in personality, and at times accuse each other of cheating.

There is also a tendency to prejudge partners, thinking that they won’t get it because they have not experienced it, or because their gender doesn’t allow them to understand it. By communicating on a regular basis it takes the stigma out and blurs the lines between both Genders.

Whether we are male or female, does not change the important fact – WE ARE BOTH HUMAN, so Menopause can be the source of power that enables women and their partners to strengthen their relationship together and work together as a formidable team,

I am advocating Menopause to speak for both Men and women, to…

  • Inspire men to embrace their feminity and show empathy and understanding to women who feel totally overwhelmed during Menopause
  • Inspire women to trust that men can actually understand them well and support them in whatever way they need.

Once you believe, you open the door to many  possibilities that even you yourself could never see. The most important thing is to always keep powering forward, through those obstacles, and never, ever give up.
